Redemptive Characteristics:

A healthy eight is self-restrained, honorable, courageous, and merciful. They realize their real power comes from inspiring and uplifting others instead of forcing their will onto them. A healthy eight will surrender to a higher authority and even sacrifice themselves and their desire for power to pursue justice for the innocent or for the greater good.

The red splatter represents the passion that an eight does towards everything in their life. Red also speaks of sacrifice, reminding us of blood. An eight is a fighter and the splattering effect represents not only the force of an eight but also the sacrifice they are willing to give for what they believe in when they are at their healthiest.
