sponsors new year's resolutions

I'm so excited to introduce to you my sponsors for January! I asked them each, "What are your top new year's resolutions for 2014? If you don't do new year's resolutions, do you have a word you're focusing on or something you'd like to be better at? Tell me a little bit about it." Be sure to check out each of their blogs or sites!!

\\ Christina of Tide and BloomMy word/goal for the new year is "remain", in order to honor all the pursuits I began in 2013. It was a year of big change and growth for me and it's important that I hold steady, faithful to the choices that led me to where I am now. I'm going to remain on this journey towards fulfillment and be patient for all the great things that lie ahead. Blog // Pinterest

\\ Andi of Ap Loves Design - I don't really do resolutions because I never stick with them. So I decided to pick a word for 2014. My word is Courage. I have tons of goals for my life personally and professionally. Picking this word will hopefully help me to remember that I can be courageous. 2014 is going to be a great year! Etsy // Facebook

\\ Chrystina of Chrystina NoelMy top 5 New Year's resolutions are to travel, record myself singing a Christmas carol for next year's mix CD, attend a blog conference, host monthly board game nights, and painting my stairwell. Blog // Twitter

\\ Alivia of Et AliaeMy "resolution" this year is to try to keep this in mind: "This year, she decided to treat herself to a much-needed break from adult cynicism and return to a child-like wonder," which is a quote from this etsy shop. When I feel overwhelmed, I try to remember how simple things were when I was a kid, and try to return to that place...at least in my head. Blog // Twitter

\\ Daisy of Daisy Faye DesignsMy family moved twice in 2013 (my husband is a Marine), we have an active toddler (is there any other kind???), and my business grew exponentially, so it was a crazy busy year for us! Now that we're settled, at least for a few years, my goal is to SLOW down. I want to slow down so that I can enjoy time with my husband before he deploys later this year. I want to slow down so I can watch my 2 year old son grow and learn. I want to slow down so that I can focus on growing my business thoughtfully and purposefully. I want to slow down so that I can explore and embrace a new city. I want to slow down so that I can spend more time with God and grow in my faith. I want to slow down so that I can enjoy life and live with intention and balance. Facebook // Etsy

\\ Eliza of Case StudyMy word for 2014 is Quality. I want to focus on living a fuller, yet simpler life. There are about a dozen areas I want to focus on this year - my relationships, my hobbies, my health - and I've chosen monthly goals in each category to help me stay focused and motivated. I blogged about the process here! Blog // Instagram

\\ Ginny of A Modern Commonplace BookInstead of picking one or two large New Year's resolutions, I like to choose a few areas of my life that need improving - and make a year-long project of them.  For instance, this year we are planning to move, so my first goal is to have my house organized and purged before we move.  Secondly, I want to use my Lose It App every day and push myself to exercise more consistently.  In the past I have been better in the fall months than the spring.  This has got to change!  Lastly, I want my quiet times in the morning to become habit.  Not just a pattern or a favorite thing, but a discipline!  Follow me on my blog to see these resolutions unfold! 8 \\ Megan of Rivers and Roads For this year, I picked the phrase "be brave." I want to be brave enough to trust the Lord with absolutely everything running around in my little heart. I want to be able to hand everything over to Him and be willing to leap when He tells me to. I want to be brave enough to take chances, try new things and step out of my comfort zone. I'm excited for all the opportunities and adventures this next year has to offer and I just can't wait to see what they all are! Blog // Facebook

\\ Stephanie of Stylings and StoriesMy top new year’s resolutions are firstly to launch my new blog consulting services, which will help coaches and creatives build beautiful and profitable blogs and secondly to practice self love through daily mantras. It’s kind of like a 365 project where I tell myself a new sweet something every day. I’m really excited for 2014. Blog // Jump
