Wedding Photos: the Groomsmen

So, I hope you enjoyed the pictures from yesterday. Let me just tell you - if you need an awesome photographer, Danielle is your woman! It was so wonderful working with her and she did such a fabulous job. Her enthusiasm and responsibility kept me feeling free to simply enjoy our wedding day. You can read more about Danielle in this interview with her here.

Not that I'm trying to brag or anything, but Drew and I have some pretty amazing friends and family. Not only did we have an amazing turnout at the wedding of friends and family, but our bridal party was a huge support and sacrificed a lot to make this day special for us. But they probably wouldn't tell you that. What I love most about our bridal party (and our friends in general) is the way they love each other. When we all get together, it's not centered around having fun or what we can get out of each other, but it's centered around the fact that we deeply care for each other and want to add value to each other's lives. With our bridal party, you could see that was evident throughout the entire wedding weekend.

What's even more special is the relationship Drew has with his Dad. Drew's Dad was his best man at our wedding, but he is also his best man in real life. From the moment I met Drew, I knew that he loved his family more than any normal human being at our age (we were 18 at the time). But, even more than that, I knew that Drew respects his Dad more than any other man on this planet. He is quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.

From the moment I met Drew's Dad, I have loved him. My favorite memory is after Drew and I were engaged and we went to visit Drew's parents. We pulled up to the house and Drew's Dad came up to us, picked me up and twirled me around saying, "My daughter!" It will always be a very happy memory for me.

So, I introduce to you the groomsmen.
