Thank you all so much for being such wonderful readers. I know I don't say this enough, but I really appreciate each one of you and the time you take to keep up with me here. I hope that this is a place where you feel encouraged and inspired and happy :) I'm continually trying to make it better and I appreciate those of you who have been loyal through it all!

Savannah and I are trying to utilize the next 6 weeks before I go on maternity leave to

get it done

around here and we have some VERY exciting things planned for the next few months. I can not wait to share them with you.

!!!!!! eeek!!!!!

We are also busy planning details for

The Maiedae Mixer

in September and - you guys - I'm psyched. We are having way too much fun planning this event! Is that possible?? Haha.

In the meantime, I'm trying to prep as much as a person can emotionally and psychologically for our little "moon-pie" to come into this world

(nickname thanks to my father-in-law... Rowan's initials are "RCH"... hence RC Cola... hence Moon-pie).

I can't believe we're down to just 6 weeks before his due date. I'm thrilled to see what he is going to look like and discovering his personality :D It's so strange how much our lives and hearts are bound to change in the coming weeks. I'll be sure to keep you posted on finishing out the nursery and things that I've found helpful throughout my pregnancy and once I experience delivery. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions during my last few weeks, be sure to let me know! :)

BUMP UPDATE

I really liked how sweet Jessica over at

Little Baby Garvin

does a weekly bump update and I thought it would be fun to include some fun bump updates in my outfit posts during my last trimester.

How far along:

  34 weeks

Gender:

  Boy

Stretch marks:

  No

Belly button in or out:

  Pretty much flat

Sleep:

Sleep is a struggle. Between having to pee all the time now, not being able to find a comfortable position, and Rowan moving the most at night, it's been rough. Haha. BUT - I'm thankful and hopeful that maybe this will help me prepare for his first few months of life. :)

Best moment this week:

This week was difficult for me - emotionally I felt my hormones were all out of wack and we've both just been really overwhelmed in this season of life. So every night this week, I opted to take a relaxing bath and I'm so glad I did. A little bit of pampering goes a long way :)

Movement:

Movements have become more and more like big sliding motions across my tummy or strong pushes outward. I've noticed some hiccups going on, too! :)

Cravings:

This week I have wanted smoothies, sorbet, and popsicles. Anything fruity and cold! Frozen blueberries will suffice in an emergency ;)

Looking forward to:

My best friends are throwing me a baby shower this weekend and I'm so looking forward to it :) Our friend Anica is flying in from California and we don't get to see her very often - so it's always a treat when she's here.
