life + love: ellijay from my iphone

We made the trip up to Ellijay, Georgia, with our good friends Brad and Kate. First, we walked around the town square and took a peek around, then we went to a place called JJ's for lunch. YUM!!! I had baked potato soup and quiche. It was much colder than I thought it would be and a little overcast, but we decided to head to Burt's Pumpkin Patch anyway. I have never seen such huge pumpkins in my life! After picking out our pumpkin, we decided to drive around and look for an apple orchard. We really wanted to find one that you could pick your own apples from the trees, but apparently you can only do that in September. We found a good place to get fresh apples, apple cider, and Drew picked out some peanuts that he is currently boiling in the crockpot. It was a great day and a wonderful celebration of fall!
