Happy Halloween, everyone!! :) Since we live in an apartment complex and already celebrated our Halloween party with our friends, it hasn't really felt much like Halloween this year. But, Drew and I are traveling up tonight to eat dinner with some friends and hang out in their neighborhood - giving all the cute little Ironmans and Cinderellas all the candy their hearts desire :)
Now that I've started showing more, I've been trying to find the most comfortable things to wear. Thankfully, since it's colder outside, I'm able to layer a lot of cardigans and cozy scarves :) I've had a few surreal moments where I realize there is actually a human inside of me. And then I feel this overwhelming "mama bear" come out of nowhere - this protective rage against anything that would threaten this little life. I had never understood this feeling before being pregnant. I mean... I "understood" that it happened and that parents were protective of their children. I got that. I just didn't understand what those emotions actually felt like running through my veins. And I'm sure those feelings are only going to grow... oh goodness. :)
So what are your Halloween plans? Do you have a costume or are you laying low?
