TELL ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?

I grew up in Middle Georgia and have moved back to the same small town I was born and raised in, where I live with my handsome husband and little son. Our days are filled with playing in the backyard, sewing during naptime, and dance parties with the record player! I'm a mom by day, blogger by night! Oh, and I have a perfect healthy obsession with Loretta Lynn, which inspired my blog name, Good Morning Loretta.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS MONTH?

My best friend is getting married this month, so Sawyer and I are headed to the great state of Utah! We'll party it up for the wedding weekend and then we are heading to see the Grand Canyon, Four Corners, and as many cheesy road-side attractions as we can take. I can't wait! In the blog world, I am looking forward to doing style posts from such amazing locations!

WHY DID YOUR START YOUR OWN BLOG? 

I started my own blog last year as a means to share awesome things I found, and as a place to write all the things I had running through my head, I added style blogging because I love the mix of feminine and tough styles you see here in the deep south and I never saw blogs that I felt like showed that, so I started my own!

WHAT ARE 2 FAVORITE PHOTOS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY?

I majored in photography in college, and worked primarily in film photography. I wish that I had a film scanner so I could show some of those photos but some of my other favorite photos came from working as a photographer. I love these ones because everyone was so happy the moments just happened naturally. I think the best photos aren't forced or posed... it's that magic moment when everything comes together perfectly, ya know?

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR WORK? 

I feel like my biggest inspiration is old record albums. I plastered my walls with them in high school, and I still love to look at them. I draw from their clothes, the poses, the styles, and the music, of course! I love how creative they got with 12"X12" squares.
