from my iphone: alt summit

We had such a great time at ALT Summit in New York City! We arrived on Wednesday afternoon, checked into our loft that we rented with Maddie and Janee (it was so much fun renting this place with these girls!!) That night, we attended a dinner hosted by Sunday Suppers and sponsored by Bing. It was wonderful connecting over a fancy dinner with about 30 of the lovely attendees of ALT. I loved the smaller, intimate setting and the view of Brooklyn was incredible.

On Thursday, we woke up early and caught the subway to the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia building. We were greeted with breakfast, crafting, and a handful of swag! I made a lovely salt scrub before we got our seats and began the conference hearing from Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge. We continued the afternoon with more speakers, lunch, and even a showing by Ms. Martha Stewart herself! The day ended with an amazing cocktail party with a full-out candy bar and, of course, Smilebooth. :) I loved everything! I would definitely recommend going to ALT if you've never been. It made me even more excited about the Texas Style Council coming up in August!
