diy: flower crowns
So, as you may have seen, we had a huge flower crown bar at the Maiedae Mixer where everyone could go and make their own to wear. I thought it might be fun to show you the supplies we used and how to make one of your own! They are so much fun to wear for outfit posts, summer outings, or especially for children's dress up :)

SUPPLIES:
- Coiled 24 GA floral wire (cut into 3 inch pieces)
- Twine wrapped wire (can be found in the wreath section of a craft store)
- Artificial or real flowers of your choice
- Wire cutters
- Floral tape (optional)
HOW TO MAKE ONE:
- Measure your head using the twine wrapped wire leaving 2-3 inches extra on each side.
- Cut the twine wrapped wire.
- Wrap the wire into a circle folding the extra wire around itself.
- Add flowers and foliage by wrapping the stems onto your twine frame with the smaller pieces of cut wire.
- Wear your flower crown! I hope you enjoy it :)
