diy: pants additions
This week, Savannah and I decided that it would be fun to try out a DIY we've seen floating around to spice up your pants or shorts! We decided to try out painting my jeans and studding Savannah's shorts and I loved how quick and easy it was! To paint my pants, all I needed was:
- Fabric paint
- A sponge paint brush
- Scissors
- A piece of heavy weight paper or a stencil of your choice
- Jeans or pants of your choice
I decided to only add paint to the bottom of my pant legs and the top of one front pocket because I wanted to have the option of covering up the paint with my boots if I wanted them to look "normal" again. Once I had painted my pants how I liked, I let them dry for 5 hours before wearing them. I haven't washed them yet, but I read that as long as you use fabric paint, they will hold up just fine. I hope you try this DIY out - it would be a great one for a party with a group of gals. :) Be sure to check out Savannah's studded shorts over on her blog tomorrow.
