coffee table

We've been dreaming of a new coffee table for a long time now. Since we love eating most of our meals in the living room and love gathering there with friends, we desperately were needing more coffee table space. This little ottoman served us well since we found him near the dumpster last year, but we finally decided it was time for a change.

So, we dreamed up the ideal coffee table and decided (for us) it would include:

• A simple, but impactful, design
• Steel legs to match the dining table and other metal fixtures around our house
• LENGTH and width - it needed to be big because we plan to use it for a long time, not just in this small apartment

And this is what we came up with:

 I love the way it turned out with the herringbone pattern and the subtle shades of wood. And it's absolutely incredible to have this much space!!
