meet scout
This past weekend, Drew and I went up to Taft, Tennessee, to visit with my sister, her husband, and my little nephew, Garner. We had a wonderful time relaxing in their home and helping them pack up to move in a few weeks. Garner is so funny and he just recently learned how to laugh which was adorable to watch. His room is decorated with monkeys and my sister says that sometimes while he is in his room he starts laughing at them.
We also picked up a new member of our family - Scout. My sister's cat had kittens five weeks ago and Drew and I decided that Ranger needed a friend. Scout had two brothers, but the thing that I love most about Scout is that he is really snuggly and calm. He gets spurts of energy, but most of the time he just loves to be held. Also, he is so tiny. I can hold him in one hand. Ahhh! I just love kittens.
We picked the name Scout because we wanted his name to be similar to Ranger's. Scout and Ranger are both military-ish names. My nickname right now for Scout is Half-Pint because he is so little. Here are some pictures for you:
