Her Answers: (to the questions offered by the tagger)
1. What inspires you about a sunset? I love sunsets! But, who doesn't? Because I'm an artist, sunsets remind me that God has created me in His image - that He is the ultimate artist. They also remind me of the beauty of creation and to stop and enjoy, more intentionally, all that is around me.
2. Describe one moment where you felt completely confident in who you were. I think in high school I really struggled with being confident in who I am. However, since then, I have become very confident in who I am as a person and the gifts and talents I have been given. I don't know if there has been one specific "moment" where I have felt completely confident; there has just been a steady increase in healthy confidence since high school and now I feel completely confident in who I am as a woman.
3. What is one question you have been struggling with lately? Recently, I've been struggling with the question of what it looks like to be an excellent wife to my future husband. I've been learning a lot about marriage and what it means to truly serve one another through love and respect. It's been challenging, but I really love it!
4. Name three people, besides those related to you by marriage or blood, who mean the world to you. Explain why. Savannah, Anica, & Alyssa. These three girls mean the world to me because they were not only my best friends in college, but because even though we are sometimes hundreds of miles apart, I feel as though we are still with each other. They have been an inspiration to me to be a better person, to pursue God with more passion, and to follow my dreams. I am who I am today partly because of these three ladies and I love them each for their unique qualities.
5. When was the last time you laughed with abandon? What brought on the sensation? Actually, last night. Drew came over to bring me hot and sour soup and chicken fried rice since I've been sick. The whole night, he kept following Ranger around saying in an Asian accent, "Chicken fried rice five dollar!! You no pay!!" Ranger was so freaked out; it was hysterical.
6. If you were to write a novel, what would it be about? If I were to write a novel, it would have the theme of encouraging women in who they are and inspiring them towards self confidence in their life purpose.
7. Which unfinished project from your past nags at you the most? I started collecting special t-shirts from my past to make a t-shirt quilt...and, sadly, it was never finished. (Or even really started.)
8. Do you have any regrets thus far in life? I have many regrets. However, I do not dwell on the past because I can not change it. I can only focus on making the right choices today and pursuing right relationships.
9. Which means more to you: a booming voice, or the still small voice? The still small voice means more to me because it takes more patience and perseverance to hear. I believe God speaks in a still small voice and waits for us to be still and listen to Him.
10. Which part of your daily appearance do you typically take the most pride in? I really enjoy picking out outfits to wear and expressing myself through clothing. It is really fun for me! Also, I love makeup - it's like a canvas on your face! I get to be creative everyday in these ways.
11. Do you believe that God has a plan for your life? Absolutely! And it's a good one, too!
