what you’ll learn
introduction
In the introduction, we go over my background, how to use the book, ways you can use your new skills, getting started, setting up your space and the tools I recommend.
Part 1: Basic Hand lettering & practice
After you’ve prepared, we start by going through the basics of hand lettering: the elements of letters, basic strokes, practicing your letters, adding flourishes, laying out your lettering, and developing your style.
part 2: a-to-z letter practice & devotions
In part two, we go through each letter of the alphabet one at a time and practice. Each letter is accompanied by a Scripture verse and devotional for practicing your lettering and meditating on God’s word.

“Finally!!! This is the Scripture inspired, relatable and interactive devotional I've been waiting for! It's BEAUTIFUL to look at and the lettering lessons are easily understandable and even easier to practice and execute. I love that you can write in the book too but I appreciate even more all the free resources Jenny offers to aid you in the process so you don't have to write in the book if you don't want to. Thanks for creating a book that invites us to participate in the creative process and make beautiful things while reminding readers of the beauty God created us in too.”
